Located at the corner of 40th and Portola Drive in Pleasure Point, Santa Cruz, California, Paradise Surf Shop was the first and only women's surf shop in Santa Cruz. 

 

Paradise Surf Shop was the go to surf shop for women, girls, and men who wanted friendly, knowledgable customer service when it came to buying anything surf - from surfboards, wetsuits, and leashes to swim wear and casual after surf wear. 



Over the years, Paradise held many events, including fundraisers for charity, art shows, poetry slams, movie nights, birthday parties, and musical musings.  

 

Paradise was (and still is) an integral player in the very popular Women On Waves surf fest held in Capitola, California, as well as hosting its own series of surf contests just for girls. 

 

Through all of these events, the daily shop antics, and community involvement, Paradise became an icon within the Santa Cruz surf scene. While no longer a brick and mortar store, the Paradise Surf brand lives on and Paradise will continue its support of local community events, surf contests, and charitable fundraisers.
